alan gratz is a well-known American author of the juvenile genre. He was born on January 27, 1972 in Knoxville, Tennessee and grew up in his home from the 1982 World’s Fair in Knoxville. His childhood was pretty carefree and wet, after which he joined the University of Tennessee and got his college degree. he specialized in the subject of creative writing and then did a master’s degree in education in English. In addition to writing novels and plays for magazines, Alan also teaches high school students the art of catapult building. he has written over 6,000 radio commercials and has also sold other people’s books. alan gratz has also had the opportunity to give a lecture at the czech university. he has written about 8 novels in the young adult category. Her first novel was such a success that it went on to rank among Wing’s Top 10 Young Adult Books in 2007. Currently, he lives in western North Carolina with his wife and his daughter. alan’s wife’s name is wendi while his daughter’s name is jo. alan loves to enjoy writing a lot. he always keeps himself busy with some or the other writing jobs. When he is not writing, he is often seen reading magazines or works by other authors, eating pizza, or watching baseball games on television.

In his career as an established author, Alan Gratz has written a couple of novel series comprising two novels each, as well as a few stand-alone novels. Horatio and Hamilton were giving general talks when the video surfaced. now, they must act in unison and find the real killer before he takes someone else’s life. they are aware of the fact that it will not be an easy task to find the real killer among the large number of suspicious people around. Another character named Olivia Mendelssohn introduces herself as an environmentalist who is determined to clean up the Copenhagen River. Olivia is an ex-girlfriend of Hamilton. she hates the prince’s paper mill, which has been polluting the copenhagen river for decades. Hamilton’s mother, Trudy, marries her uncle Claude de Ella after her father’s death. With the marriage, Claude is entitled to half of the plant and its profits. another character named ford n. Branff is a media mogul who wants to buy the plant. Ford is also Trudy’s college flame. Horatio Wilkes is efficient enough to carry out the investigation himself and reveal the motive behind the murder of Hamilton’s father. he doesn’t care about the fact that he’s just a high school student. the novel proved to be intelligent, hippy and at the same time mysterious in all aspects. became a huge hit due to its sizzling one-liners and hilarious twists and turns.

The second novel in the series was published in 2008 by the dial publishing house and was titled ‘something evil’. The novel continues to show the mysterious plot in Tennessee, United States. It’s time for the Scottish Highland Festival in Tennessee City. The festival is ready to kick off with a bang, however, before it can go ahead, a big problem arises. Duncan Macrae who was the founder of the festival games is found murdered. Duncan’s son, Malcolm, is arrested by the police on suspicion of the murder of his father. however, Horatio casts doubt on whether Malcolm is the killer. he’s going to attend the scottish festival along with his friend mac de him, his super hot girlfriend beth and buddy banks. Arriving at the festival, Horace finds himself caught up in the ruthless Scottish games. the games are beyond anyone’s comprehension and what is fair appears to be dirty, while what is dirty appears to be fair. Horatio realizes that his mac’s best friend could become his worst enemy. however, he cautiously continues to conduct research on him while he enjoys the festival games. The novel is believed to be based on shakespeare’s play called ‘macbeth’ and it keeps the pace and following of the plot and characters very well.
