kellogg’s and penguin random house are partnering for a special food reading program. their goal is to put more books in our children’s hands to build reading confidence and start the day off right with a kellogg’s breakfast.
Buy any eggo product between now and September 30, 2019 and get a free random penguin book for your child or school. find them at walmart in the frozen section.
How to Redeem Your Free Books
purchase any participating eggo product. look for the special label on the box or find the full list of participating products at feedreading.com. Don’t forget you can shop online with Walmart Groceries. take a picture of your receipt. you have 30 days to send your receipt after purchase.

Log in to Kellogg’s Family Rewards® and upload your receipt. If you don’t already have a Kellogg’s Family Rewards account, click the Join Now button to create one.
After you upload your receipt, you’ll receive an e-mail telling you how many Kellogg’s Family Rewards points you earned. (The e-mail could take up to 72 hours to arrive.) When you log back into Kellogg’s Family Rewards, you’ll see how many credits you’ve earned towards books. 1 box = 1 book. You can earn up to 10 free books.

after logging in to kellogg family rewards, you will see a link to get your books now at the top of the page. click the link to go to the redemption page. there you will choose between keeping your books or donating them to the school or library of your choice.
Next, you’ll choose your books. there are 125 titles at a variety of reading levels. Books are divided into 4 categories: Beginning Reader, Intermediate Reader, Teen, and Bilingual/Spanish.
You’ll find board books, picture books, Step Into Reading books, and chapter books mixed together in the Beginning Reader section. I’ve highlighted some of our favorites below.

You’ll find the board book version of Eric Carle’s Very Hungry Caterpillar and some Llama Llama board books. llama llama red pajama is one of the picture books available, as well as excerpts from brad meltzer’s series ordinary people change the world (i’m abraham lincoln, i’m neil armstrong, i’m rosa parks), the duck & the tad hill goose series, the berenstein bears series and some golden books like the poky puppy.
The Step into Reading Books include Rocket’s 100th Day of School and Drop It, Rocket! by Tad Hills, themed books about baseball, soccer, Paw Patrol, and non-fiction books about the first moonwalk, Pompeii, sharks, bugs, whales, wolves, history, and more.
Some of the chapter books in the Beginner’s Reading section include the Magic Treehouse series, the A to Z mystery series, and the Junie B series. jones series.
you’ll find the magic treehouse merlin missions series in the intermediate readers section along with mr. the lemoncello library series and several other titles.
This is a great way to build your own library of books or to donate to your child’s school or library of choice while starting the day with eggo.
