In this guide, you will learn how to speed up the “engraving aura” upgrade which will allow you to get almost all 3 levels. considering you can have 2 “even of the same type” engraving auras equipped, you can max out 2 of those important abilities. To improve the engraving aura you need to find engraving books or chests. the latter allows you to choose 1 book you want from a specific “best to get the one you need” selection. Engraving Books are usually obtained from any endgame dungeons and raids. the easiest way to get the books is the dungeons of the abyss “also known by the name of dungeons of the void”. at the end of each run you always get 2 random books as a reward. to unlock an aura you need, you need to read 20 rare books for the specific engraving. unlocked, you can equip it in 2 gear slots. this will allocate 3 points to the equipped aura ability “you need 5 for each level”. then if you find and read 20 rare books, each aura will increase the engraving capacity by 6 points, for another 20 books of epic rarity it will increase to 9 points and finally for 20 legendary books it will increase to 12 points. so it’s really hard to loot random books at once to unlock the 2 engravings you need. this means that you will have to sell the books you don’t need and use the gold you collect to buy the one you do need.

There is a shortcut to easily get the uncommon and rare books and bring 2 skills to 6 points. in fact, there are plenty of side quests that give you the special chests I mentioned earlier. There are 2 types of chests, one that allows you to learn a specific skill unique to your class, and the other type allows you to learn a specific skill for all classes.

replace [rarity] with uncommon and rare to see what chests are lying around. for now you can only find uncommon and rare chests from side quests.

- You can also get those books by completing chaos dungeons after depleting daily energy “2 runs” which replace normal resource drops with special tokens. those tokens can be converted into engraved chests through the npc located near the chaos dungeon entrance.
- you can buy those chests with a weekly limit. from various npc scattered around other islands, using special coins you get from those islands or pirate coins. on astella island, for example, you can find such a provider.
