The Lost Books of the Bible and the Forgotten Books of Eden – HubPages

Attending Bible school when he was just 17, the author has a lifelong interest in the Bible and how it applies to modern humanity.

preface; the story of adam and eve

I recently read for the second time, the “forgotten books of eden” in which the second book is very short, maybe only a few pages, but the first book of eden is long. it is authenticated by many writings in our bible and has historical value. it was one of the manuscripts from which our bible culminated. who chose to leave this post-garden of eden manuscript out of our bible? tells the names of other family members and exposes many lies that society tells about the beginning. it does not discredit our bible but rather authenticates it and provides the missing information. Why don’t so many Christians discover or read this manuscript? it is much like a love story of a caring god trying to redeem and help fallen man. gives details, names, places, and divine intentions from early biblical history up to the flood. I think we are cheated of one of the most divine stories. i think even if it’s not one of the biblical canons, then at least it belongs as a history book along with the bible. it was also protected by the Essenes’. he kept with the books of isaiah. God said, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” – I’m not saying you can find proof of previous civilizations in its pages, but you can certainly find more about Adam and Eve’s life on earth, because that’s what it’s all about. Greetings.

Reference Volume: (The World Publishing House. Cleveland Ohio, New York City Copyrighted 1926, Alpha House Inc.)

In the preface of this book, the ecclesiastical authorities and the writers bring as proof this volume of “lost books”, of which all the parts are of great antiquity. All information included in this article is taken from the book. however, I will give my opinions and express them as such. The question of why these books were not included in the modern bible has some complexity, but rest assured that amid early church politics and academic selection of the historical interpreters of the bible who wrote the successive editions, we have to believe that it is a miracle that we still have this record of early Christianity. he asserts that good men were engaged throughout history on both sides of the ecclesiastical controversy related to the use of these volumes. the archbishop of canterbury wake, who translated them from the original says that “here is a complete and perfect collection of all the genuine articles remaining from the apostolic fathers, and continuing the antiquity of the church from the time of the holy writings of the New Testament about a hundred and fifty years after Christ.

in the introduction of dr. Frank Crane affirms that it is impossible for a man who represents a force as great as Jesus of Nazareth to appear in the world without finding many echoes of his personality in contemporary literature, and many stories that grew about him over time. /p>

the lost books of the bible present all kinds of matters before the curious eye. There are stories about Mary, and instances from her personal life. There are other stories about the childhood of Jesus and examples of his crucifixion. all of these are important because of who he is. No man has ever appealed to the imagination of mankind and toyed with his feelings as much as Jesus of Nazareth has done.

dr. Crane says that the publication of this book will do a lot of good because it removes the veil of secrecy that has hidden for many years the act of the church in accepting certain scriptures and rejecting others. Included are chapters on mary, nicodemus, paul, clement, barnabas, additional general epistles, and I think this is the highlight, letters from herod and pilate related to the early church and the crucifixion of jesus christ. As a finale, the last gospel of peter surely stands out as he was a key apostle in the founding of the early church. When I say this, I am referring exclusively to his true role, totally outside of the catholic overlay of the apostle peter in his church, claiming that he was his first pope. -from all my own research, i assure you to the best of my knowledge, peter was never a member of it because of his own decision to be part of the roman church, in fact, he was persecuted and killed by that very entity. Christians were forced into catacombs and hunted like animals until they were captured and subjected to the most horrible death by torture if they did not recant their faith and swear allegiance to the empire and allegiance to the Roman Catholic faith. reference “fox book of martyrs”

now let’s review “the forgotten books of eden:” edited by rutherford h. Platt, Jr., this volume is presented by William N. guthrie d.d. (doctor of divinity). He claims that the very words of Jesus were an unconscious quote from the testaments of the 12 apostles. that considering that the printing of lost books and forgotten books and their placement in the library of every clergyman will bring more intelligence to our churches. mentions the apocrypha and the pseudepigrapha, how for many years one could very well be arrested for the mere utterance of classified works such as this.

Of particular interest is the first and second books of Adam and Eve. -to be very frank, I am appalled that this account was never taught to me as a child or at least in my teens! Illustrates the life of Adam and Eve in the garden. reveals the transition of this first family from living in the private garden of the gods to living in the desert and in caves and vividly describes the pain and affliction experienced by adam as he came again and again to the gate of the garden and he sought to be in the gods presence once more. It talks about how they had to learn to cook, hunt and live in cave shelters that God took them to outside the garden. Eve records Adam’s near death multiple times as he lay on the ground in utter pain from the broken relationship with the divine creator. any serious biblical scholar will find answers to many of his questions in this book, where we really come from and where we are going. the books of enoch, oh how much they speak of the presence of the holy god! all the elements of the earth and the sun were described to him. he was shown the separate heavens, and all about the works of the angels in creation and the jobs given to them in the realm we know. that’s why it’s called the secrets of enoch. Then the Psalms of Solomon and the Odes of Solomon are highlighted, which describe matters of the heart and how the human conscience relates to the mighty god. Yet none of this contradicts or subtracts from the Pentateuch, or the Books of Isaiah, or even the 19th-century find of the Dead Sea Scrolls, still revered by the ministries of antiquities in the homeland of Israel. when scoffers say, “oh, i only believe the bible,” are they blinded by tradition? all historical evidence, writings, manuscripts, volumes of the bible that are of the same age and place as the modern vulgate translated bible, are relevant. they are “lost” only because modern minds refuse to accept their relevance. Bible seminars ignore the value and contribution of putting into practice and studying the remaining books of the Bible today. this is a misnomer when it is very clear and obvious that it was empires and sometimes bad men that cut down and eradicated the use of these books based on tradition and expediency to produce an abbreviated religion that was politically suitable for the time. they also added non-biblical doctrines invented solely by man, such as the concept of the “tetullian” trinity. Men who tried to hold on to truth and apostolic empowerment like Michael Servitus and others were silenced and prevented from preserving the original texts, sometimes through cultural purging of libraries and church history. all this is atrocity of the worst kind carried out by insensitive and selfish rulers.

now I would like to add that the Essenes were a Hebrew sect that was in charge of the preservation of the gospels, as well as writers, scribes, religious and scholars, of the church of the new testament. during the invasion of israel they did their best to hide and keep god’s word intact. in fact, they had almost no other task than to do it. this was sacred to them and their life was dedicated to the word of god. however, I don’t know how the New Testament documents were preserved, as the Jews predominantly lived according to the Torah, or Old Testament Law and Prophets.

I say this carefully as I close this segment of my report; “There is valuable information about the lives of Adam and Eve in this document.” This historical volume has credible evidence that Adam and Eve were the first cave dwellers. speaks of the existence of angels on earth. It speaks to much that has been overlooked in the creation account, including the other brothers and sisters of Cain and Abel and their names. there is so much comprehensive information that it would be hard not to want to read it twice to absorb it. It will totally transform closed minds, or at least make you realize that god didn’t leave us in the dark… it is the error of man and history that has left us without important elements of the creation story. in fact, I personally think it counters almost every argument evolutionists could make to discredit the biblical creation account, regardless of the lack of modern terminology used at the time.

footnote: I want to add and update this at a later date. I feel like there is so much more I need to reveal as I study. additional perspectives on the time of creation from the state of “chaos”.

1) I recently made progress in discovering what it meant when God commanded Moses to hide in a cleft of a rock on Mt. sinai; lest he be overcome by the rear parts of the presence of the gods. it was not a matter as simple as that. moses was placed on a rock, where he was shown the back of the glory of god, or transferred if you like to the chaos of the beginning. watching god create both the terrible darkness and the dramatic light moment of the first day. the division of the firmament and subsequent events. he was in the supernatural realm with god. it was because he had continually asked god to show him his divine glory. you can research this, or you can google dr. mark hanby: prophetic message: youtube: “the voice behind me”.

2) i have reason to believe also from my studies that adam (and his wife eve) may have lived almost 3000 years in total…what do you say? it’s easy to get to this just by using the bible scriptures where a thousand years is like a day (time of the gods) and as adam and eve were created very early on the sixth day so it was almost a thousand years and the whole year of the gods rest, that’s a full thousand years, so they existed almost 2 thousand years in the garden before the expulsion and their almost thousand years as simple or modified humans in the post-garden “earth” of eden. they had been changed through a divine process from being a garden age spirit being to becoming this new earthly creature.

or- you could summarize it another way by saying that they lived almost 2 full years as divine beings within the garden realm, and around 930 years later in the natural/terrestrial realm.

This also concludes that the earth is a little older than what we are taught in Sunday school. It is the age that we know as, around 6,000 years after the Garden of Eden, plus the 7,000 years before the expulsion; during the days of creation. we also currently know that we are entering the 7th millennium and we have yet to see the fulfillment of that era: – before (speaking of the bible) rev. 10:6 “when time is no more.” How do you agree with 13,000 years, to make 7,000 years of garden plus 6,000 years of earth make up this sum? yes, with 1000 years ahead. at the end it will be the second fulfillment of seven thousand years; which is equivalent to 14,000 years in total since the chaos.

3) People don’t realize that Chinese, as almost the oldest pure language, has had a hard time hiding the truth of the symbols used for the root of the word “man”. the root symbol denotes that both man and woman have their feet coming out of the ground, as if created from dust. this flies strong in your culture that now teaches evolution. however, they cannot erase their origin, and neither can we.

About the author of this article.

I attended texas bible college in 1976 and began my pursuit of ministry upon returning to alaska. I received my general ministerial license and then ordination while pastoring in king salmon, alaska with my wife and children. Over the years, I have read such books as the Dead Sea Scrolls (Edmund Wilson), the Archko Volume (Archko Press), Letters to the Young Churches (Phillips), and many other objective historical sources. It started to make me hungry to know more about our beginning and more about the word of God and his people through the centuries. A new book I want to mention was given to me by a friend, and that is, “Trial Against the Gods” by Gerald C. cleansed. As this hunger awoke within me, I had to find out more. Although life and family events sometimes get in the way, what we do, what we seek, and where we direct our attention most accurately describe who we are. I have many mentors, and one day I might list as many of them as I can remember, but now is not the time for that. I have woken up morning after morning and realized that I am the fruit of others. others invested in me, and now I must prove my loyalty not to them but to the one above all. jehovah, because he cared enough to disguise himself as human flesh, he became our jesus/immanuel, and when he left the earth in bethany, he said, “go, stay in the city of jerusalem, until you are endued with power from heaven.” high, and you will be my witnesses both in jerusalem, in judea, in samaria, and in all parts of the world. He said: “if we do not raise our voices and proclaim it, the very rocks will cry out!”

  • divinity terminology at this point in my life, I cannot find substance or proof in the bible to validate the use of the term trinity, for these reasons:

yes, whether hidden in caves, suffocated by kings, locked in the vatican or in synagogues lost to all but the priests of yesterday, why was it not opened to all? read by all? authenticated and printed and distributed? however, there are writings by ancient scholars that still puzzle us. the passage of time sometimes hides the most valuable research. we must fight forever to keep it alive! God himself promises that his word is alive.

mel carriere from snowbound and down in northern colorado on May 17, 2016:

fascinating stuff. what we now call writing was definitely politically motivated, and I don’t think reading these lost books qualifies as heresy, whether we take them as inspired truth or not. very interesting center.
