Setting up the ‘zoe bentley mystery’ series of novels, this provides the first case file in the franchise, along with introducing the protagonist for the first time as well. First released in 2018 on August 1, it was initially to be released through the ‘Thomas and Mercer’ imprint. in establishing the franchise, he would set the world while creating the atmosphere and setting, allowing him to set what is to come in the following novels.
