We’ve run these tests on our guestbooks, so please note that your results may vary if you’ve chosen a different page option or brand. we specially chose the cardstock and weight after much testing and feedback, as a thinner weight or a glossier finish can cause issues back in the day and leave you with a guestbook that is less than perfect (even if it ends up being cheaper to produce… what good is it if it doesn’t fulfill its function?!)

however, you don’t want too much ink flowing; if it’s too heavy, the ink will bleed through to the other side of the page. you can also get smears and smears with too much ink.
