He graduated in 1991 from North Valley Regional High School in Demarest. simon studied law at the city of london university, however, he dropped out of law school to pursue advertising. He earned his BA in Cultural Anthropology from Brandeis University.

simon is an associate member of the staff of the rand corporation, which is one of the most respected think tanks in the world. When she’s not in hotels, she lives in New York, where she teaches graduate-level strategic communications at Columbia University.
