Stuart Gibbs is a New York Times bestselling American author and has written several bestselling series of novels, including the Moonbase Alpha series, the Fun Jungle series, and the Spy School series. In addition to writing novels, he has written screenplays for several Hollywood movies, including Repli-Kate and See Spot Run. Author Gibbs has also worked on a bunch of popular animated movies. He has even developed TV shows for famous channels like Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Fox, and ABC. The plot of this novel revolves around the events in the life of the main characters named Benjamin Ripley and Jessica Shang. In the opening sequence of the novel’s plot, Benjamin Ripley is shown joining a ski school, where he attempts to descend, go extremely steep, and gamble all the time. in reality, he is not considered one of the top students in an espionage school due to his habit of failing advanced self-preservation. however, outside of his class, he is quite active and alive. He has survived every deadly attempt by his enemies to kill him, including kidnapping, shooting, locking him in a room with a bomb, and blowing him up with a missile. After seeing the success of him in all the difficult times, the CIA finally decides to recruit him as a real spy.

On his first mission, Benjamin Ripley is asked to befriend Jessica Shang, the daughter of a Chinese crime boss. He is also told that he knows the information about Jessica’s father’s secret activities through her mouth. Even Jessica wants to enroll in spy school and so she goes along with some other undercover students to learn skiing. Even though Benjamin can’t quite handle the sport of skiing, he may very well become friends with Jessica Shang. but, he is unaware that one of his friends from his hometown is also going to sign up for skiing at school. if he joins benjamin and jessica on the trip, he will surely create problems for benjamin, which may jeopardize the mission as well as his career as a secret agent.
