a.j. Tata is one of the best known American authors, who likes to write his books based on the genres of action, suspense and military fiction. He is particularly famous for writing the popular series of novels called the Menace series and the Captain Jake Mahegan series. Author Tata is also known by the names of Anthony J. tata and tony tata. Before becoming an author, he used to serve in the United States Army. from there, he retired as a brigadier general and then found his second career as a novelist. author tata’s military career spanned 28 years, between 1981 and 2009. after he retired, he began working as secretary of the north carolina department of transportation. he held this position between 2013 and 2015 under the government of pat mccrory. During the tenure of this job, the author Tata had also started writing novels simultaneously. As a novelist, the subject of most of author Tata’s books is based on the life of the military. the threat series is the best example of this. Author Tata started writing this series in the year 2008. He even released the first book in the series in the same year and became a published author. The series is based on the lives of two fictional characters named Zachary and Matt Garrett, who serve in the military. These two men are represented as brothers by the author Tata. In total, author Tata has published 4 books in the series so far. All the novels in the series encompass the published works of author Tata’s writing, which he has compiled based on his personal experience in the military. Following the success of the first book, Sudden Threat, author Tata donated a total of $27,000 of the novel’s proceeds to a Wounded Warriors Fund.
In the year 1981, Tata obtained her Bachelor of Science from the United States. Military school. Later, he earned his Master of Arts degree from the American Catholic University in International Relations. He also earned an adjunct Master of Science and Military Arts degree in strategic planning from the United States School of Advanced Military Studies. army. After this, the author Tata served in the J.F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University as a National Security Fellow. Between 2006 and 2007, the author Tata served as Deputy to the Commanding General of the United States Forces in Afghanistan. He also served a couple of tours with the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg. later in his army, tata also became a brigadier general. for his dedicated service in the us. army, author tata was awarded the bronze star and combat action badge. His other accomplishments include being a graduate of the United States Army Ranger School. After completing his time in the Army, Author Tata served as Principal of the District of Columbia Public Schools and as Superintendent of the Wake County Public School System. his attempt to become a published author also served him well, as he became a successful novelist of military fiction books. Author Tata has donated one hundred profits from the series to the Wounded Military Personnel Fund at an Army Medical Center. one of the books written by the author tata was nominated as a finalist for the prestigious barry award in the category of best thriller.

The plot of this book features the central character of Captain Jake Mahegan. The opening sequence of the book shows that Captain Mahegan was involved in a mission about a year ago in which he led a Delta Force team into Afghanistan to capture a traitor to America who was believed to be working for the Taliban. but the mission did not go as planned. in fact, it caused a lot of tragedy for everyone. During the course of that mission, the Delta Force team was infiltrated and bombed by the terrorists. had resulted in the death of an enemy prisoner. the tragedy did not stop there. Captain Mahegan was disgraced and dismissed from his service forever. now in the present day the mahegan captain is shown to still be haunted by that incident. he seems very determined to fix things and clear his name. but, the military don’t want me to do anything. When Captain Mahegan learns that the American Taliban have returned to American soil along with the traitor who caused him great destruction, he sets out for revenge. Captain Mahegan knows that he is the only man who could stop these men. but he has to do it his way.
The next installment in the series is titled “Three Minutes to Midnight”. It was published by Kensington Publishers in the year 2016. In this book, Captain Mahegan is once again shown as he undergoes an ultimate test and faces a terrifying scenario. The opening scene of the plot shows that an army reserve officer named Captain Maeve Cassidy who works as a geologist is kidnapped by the Taliban. She was returning from his visit to Afghanistan when a security breach at Fort Bragg resulted in his disappearance. The kidnapping is believed to be the initial step in a large-scale domestic attack on Americans. to delta force veteran, captain mahegan is asked to take on the case and find captain cassidy. Mahegan is already on a personal mission, trying to find his mother’s killer in North Carolina. when he finds out about the kidnapping, he wonders if he is related to the man he is after. Soon, a couple of nuclear plants are attacked in the nearby areas in a span of a few days. this makes it clear that the two cases are closely related. the attack is considered to have been brilliantly conceived and was not foreseen by any intelligence analyst in the entire nation. When Maegan concludes that another nuclear plant has been targeted, he sets his plan in motion. he knows that his plan is not foolproof, but he has no choice. the nation will fall if he fails. however, his determination is what keeps him going when armageddon begins.
