Initially, most of the stories depicted in the series revolved around Mandy Hope and her parents’ veterinary practice called animal ark. and settled in the yorkshire town of welford. but, as the series progresses, the stories expand to various other continents around the world. in the original series, numerous books were written as holiday specials or summer specials. And around the end of 2003, the series primarily featured holiday specials that took place during Easter, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Halloween. the editors have divided the entire series into different sections, including spin-offs.

Sheleigh McNicholas has served as the book’s illustrator. In the opening scene, the author Baglio has described the veterinary center of the parents of the main character Mandy Hope. At the entrance there is a sign that says that all animals, as well as animal lovers, are welcome at the clinic. The clinic is called Animal Ark Veterinary Clinic. mandy hope enters the plot of the book as a helping hand for her parents. she helps her parents at the clinic, both veterinarians, in the treatment of animals. All kinds of animals come to the clinic, including all those with different sizes and shapes. In addition, Mandy Hope continues to get involved in helping animals in need. she can’t resist helping out whenever she sees an animal in trouble. she also has her best friend named james by her side to accompany her in her appreciable works. On one occasion, James and Mandy are shown working on the spill farm when they come across a small lamb. appears to have been abandoned by her mother. They decide to take the lamb to Mandy’s parents’ clinic and take care of it. they provide medical attention to the lamb and help it to return to health. But when Mandy starts to get attached to the lamb, it disappears. Immediately, Mandy Hope and James start looking everywhere for the lamb. they cross their fingers and pray that they find it very soon before it’s too late.
another interesting novel in the series is titled “pony on the porch”. This book was also published by Scholastic Publishing in the year 1994. The author Baglio has published this book in UK and US editions. Also in this book, author Baglio has shown that Mandy remains committed to helping animals. She works in her parents’ clinic treating animals and also helps treat her outside of the clinic. she cares so much about the betterment of animals that she can’t resist if she sees any animal in need. As the story of this book begins, Mandy Hope is shown meeting Susan Collins, who appears to be stuck on something. she doesn’t like her behavior or attitude at all. But, the one thing Mandy finds good about Susan Collins is her little pony prince of hers. However, seeing her behavior towards the beautiful pony, Mandy realizes that her determination to win the show jumping contest could threaten the pony’s life. she therefore tries to convince susan collins that what she is thinking of doing is not good for the pony. she even tries to make her realize that she could endanger the pony’s life. but, susan collins pays no attention to her words. Now, Ella Mandy wonders if she can help the innocent pony before it’s too late.
