anne rivers siddons is one of america’s best-known authors, best known for her work on southern literature. she has written several best-selling novels in her writing career. She was born on January 9, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, as Sybil Anne Rivers. Author Siddons spent most of her growing up years in Fairburn, Georgia. After completing her school studies, she joined Auburn University and became a member of the ‘Delta Delta Delta Sorority’.
During his days at Auburn University, he used to constantly contribute his writing to the student newspaper. On one of those occasions he had written a column in the Auburn Plainsman, the student newspaper, which had become a hot topic throughout the university. Although the column favored integration, Siddons was criticized by the university’s administrative staff. the administration also tried to try to suppress the column and eventually fired it. When he turned 30, he married the love of her life named Heyward Siddons, who later helped write many of her novels. However, the two parted ways in 2014 after Heyward’s death.
