how do i know if my comics are valuable?
There are many factors to consider when trying to decide if your old comics are worth anything including, but not limited to, the condition your comics are in and when they were first published.

It goes without saying that the better condition your comics are in, the more attractive they will be to a potential buyer. factors include bent or torn pages, discoloration, or if a comic has been marked or defaced in any way. however, if your comics aren’t in the best physical condition, don’t worry too much. if your comic is particularly rare or highly collectible, for example it may contain the first appearance of a character or has been printed in a very limited quantity, then it may still be worth a considerable amount.
Comics collectors are often more concerned with older comics , most of which were published between the 1930s and the mid-1970s. The easiest way to determine if your comics can be considered “classic” is to look at the cover price. the valuable ones will have 10c, 12c, 15c, 20c or 25c on the cover, but of course there are always exceptions to the rule. The four categories that comics fall into are the Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age, and Copper Age through the modern age, with the Golden Age naturally being the oldest and potentially most valuable. (from the 1930s to the mid-1950s) and the copper age to the modern age. being the most recent (from the 1980s to the present).
