method 2. update your ibooks app to recover lost audiobooks
or you can try to update your ibooks app to fix audiobooks disappeared on iphone issue. Sometimes audiobooks disappeared due to wrong settings on your device or bad network. this is to activate ibooks app settings, hopefully it will help you to recover lost audiobooks you have downloaded on ibooks.
step 1. on your iphone, ipad, or ipod, launch the settings app and go to ibooks, and turn off the sync collections feature.

step 5. When your iphone has rebooted, launch the settings app again, tap ibooks and turn on the sync collections option.
step 6. now, go back to home screen, launch ibooks app and tap featured tab on ibooks main interface. On the next page, scroll down to tap the sign in button and enter your apple id and password to sign in to the itunes store again.

step 7. now, tap on the purchased tab at the bottom and tap on the audiobooks option. you may see all the audiobooks listed here.

method 3. reset all settings to fix audiobooks disappeared on iphone
If the above two methods can’t solve the missing audiobooks issue, it is the last solution you can try to recover lost audiobooks on your iphone. Resetting all settings on your device will not delete any data on your phone, but it will delete the settings and password stored on your device, including Apple ID and password. this might help you fix the missing audiobooks issue somehow.

step 1. unlock your iphone and go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.
step 2. On the next screen, you must enter your access code to confirm it.
