At the age of 25, she approached La Cosmopolita with her first story and agreed to publish it in her next issue. After this, Ella Plain went on to contribute a few dozen more short stories to various women’s magazines. When her 3 children were old enough to take care of themselves, the author decided to steer her towards writing novels. In her first book, Evergrees, she portrayed the character of Anna in the form of a feisty, red-haired Jewish girl who emigrates from Poland to New York in hopes of changing her fortunes. Author Plain has described Anna’s family history, which spans a few more decades and 4 other books in the series. it is believed that the author simply did not have a computer in her life. in fact, she used to write all her books and stories by her own hand on yellow pads. Throughout her career, Plain remained a disciplined worker. she demanded to write for a few hours in the morning for only five days a week. her every year, she used to produce a novel of about 500 to 600 pages. Author Plain’s husband was named Irving Plain, who died in 1982 after being married to her for more than 40 years.

For many years afterward, Charlotte used to look back on that night with great contempt and fear. she used to keep herself extremely busy with her architectural work in order to remember that painful night. charlotte tries to hide her own world from her and at the same time builds new worlds for others as an architect. her family, who were major employers in the industrial city of new england, what had happened to her was only the beginning of the end for her and her family. charlotte’s father is devastated while her mother can’t seem to cope with the news. Eventually, Charlotte’s family loses all of its grace and plunges into a great deal of debt. the only thing keeping them through the dark times is a woman who harbors a guilty secret that seems to have given her the authority to destroy or resurrect the family members she seems to owe her life to. In the end, the flat author has described an intriguing novel that tells the story of a family united by secrecy. it also shows a redemption that grows in a person when they decide to tell the truth.
