While the majority of the top 100 best-sellers in 2018 are fiction, it was one heartfelt memoir that topped this year’s list. Former first lady Michelle Obama, a.k.a. America’s most admired woman, dominated book sales in 2018, landing the No. 1 spot on the USA TODAY’s year-end top 100 best-selling books. Pretty impressive considering “Becoming” was only published this past November.
While the former White House resident broke records, the current resident makes two notable appearances in the top 100. President Donald J. Trump and his administration were the subject of not one but two 2018 bestsellers: Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” at No. 2 and Bob Woodward’s “Fear: Trump in the White House” at No. 4.
