This is not a read aloud, but it contains a lot of great information! this book would be great for elementary and high school students. allows them to start with their interests and find relevant careers from there.

Be sure to also give students the opportunity to preview picture books about specific careers. Check your local school or library to find children’s books about different jobs. Are they interested in being astronauts, fashion designers, or authors? Picture books will spark ideas and get students thinking about what interests them!

This is the students’ favorite part! Once they’ve identified a career that might interest them, ask them to interview in front of their peers. they will dress for the role and the students (or the teacher) will ask them interview questions. so cool!
