The list of investment and personal finance books is quite extensive. this is not that list. while those books can be helpful, many get too technical, and if your mindset isn’t in the right place to acquire that knowledge, what’s the point? Furthermore, technical knowledge alone will not lead you towards a prosperous and wealthy life (financial or otherwise). Much of what keeps people from being successful is their thoughts and beliefs about money.

Dweck has a very compelling view of why we should look at failure and learning differently. Plus, this book helps you assess whether he’s approaching his money from a fixed or growth perspective. there is a big difference, that’s why I recommend this book.

Use your lack of financial resources to your advantage. We also recommend this book to those in a good position because it can reignite a hustle and bustle that you may have lost along the way.

Above all, Coyle shows how we can all reach our full potential (and the best money mindset) if we dedicate ourselves to training our brains the right way.

This is a classic and one of those books that I review at least once a year. it’s so good if you haven’t read it, drop what you’re doing and read it already. in fact, I think it should be required reading for high school students. In the book, Napoleon Hill recounts his investigation of over 500 self-made millionaires (note that the book was originally published in 1937) and then summarizes the “secret” to building wealth in 13 principles and reveals “the main causes of failure” that keep many of us from getting rich. This really should be on every list of books for a better money mindset or list of self-improvement books in general.

I had to convince my wife to read this because she’s not a big tennis fan, she read it and loved it. so if you’re not a big tennis fan either, she just ignores the title and reads on. this book is about how to master your inner dialogue. the inner game of tennis theory states that two opposing mentalities are always fighting. the first, the mind of the “accountant” that is full of self-criticism and self-criticism. this mindset wants to over control his performance. the second “doer” mindset is the best mindset for peak performance and occurs when you are free and react with your game. you must master both. again, master your mind, master your money.

This book examines the lives of unlikely and unexpected millionaires. it gets into the habits, careers, and relationships that shape these people. some of the material is dated to the 90s, but the concept is still applicable today, especially the tenet that wealth is more common than you think, actually, that might be even more relevant today. There’s plenty of practical advice in this classic book and it’s well worth a look.
