Picture Books for New Year&039s Day and Goal Setting – Amy Lemons

I have to admit I’m still coming off my Christmas high; I really love it! but once all the presents are opened and we drink our hot chocolates and move on to the next day, there is something new and exciting to get ready for… the new year! and since 2020 was great, I’m pretty sure most of us will celebrate a lot this year, even the little ones who had their own struggles during this season. Thinking about all of that got me thinking about the best way to get not only adults, but also children, to think about the positives that lie ahead. and well, books have never failed us. So today, I want to share some of my favorite picture books for new years day and goal setting that can get your kids or students (you too!) ready to set your own.

yes, setting resolutions can be a cliché, though; when you think of them in terms of goal setting, it becomes much more deliberate and clear. I think it’s important that we get kids into the mindset of setting goals early to create a strong foundation for how to navigate the rest of their lives! check out these fun new year picture books for inspiration.
