what will you need to get started?
- a valid library card. you don’t need its pin to use over drive. If your card has expired, visit your regional library to restore it.
- Adobe Digital Editions applications installed on your personal computer and approved with your Adobe ID. (To find them, visit Adobe’s educational brochure.)

step 1: download and query an epub or pdf at adobe digital editions
click sign in (top of this screen)
type your library card number (all digits, no spaces) and click sign in
Before you start downloading books, you’ll find it helpful to set your default times by clicking account and then settings.
As soon as you have selected a book, click on the name of the book cover. then click the borrow button.
The book is currently on loan and will show up in your library.
Notice: If you find that you have selected the wrong name, after clicking borrow, but before trying to download it, you can click the title return button. the book will be removed from your account. otherwise, continue to the next step.
just click on download, a menu will open so you can decide the type of book you want to download.
select epub or pdf, then click confirm & download.
A box will appear asking if you want to save, cancel or open this document. click open. (believe open book)
Adobe Digital Editions will launch (note that the first time you open it, you may be prompted to authorize apps along with your Adobe ID).

step 2: run the downloaded library e-book for your corner
click library in the upper left corner to go to library view.
connect your corner to the computer using the usb cable. your corner will automatically rotate at this stage. otherwise, turn into your own corner.

You will soon see the following (or similar) message in your corner: If you want to use your corner and continue loading, select eject the corner drive on your PC from the menu, which means that your corner is ready to receive a ebook from pc
You will now see another icon that says Corner (or the name of your Corner) below the devices in the left side panel of Adobe Digital Editions.
click all things to return to the books saved on your pc. click on the name that you need to move for your corner, then click and then hold the mouse button on the cover of this book that you want to transfer. drag the body into your corner on the left side. each time a green signal appears, release the mouse button. the ebook will then replicate itself in a corner.
safely eject your corner of your pc.
unplug your corner of the usb cable.
in your corner 1st edition: visit my library. proceed to my records. your new ebook will be recorded. click the name of your ebook to start reading.
in its corner touch: library of harnesses. make sure
everything is chosen from the dropdown box near the top left corner. take advantage of the ebook to start reading.
step 3: renew your library’s e-book
select the refresh icon next to the name you want to renew.
note: this option does not appear until three days before the name expires
when the renew icon is green, you can borrow the title again after your coupon expires.
When the refresh icon is grayed out, you’ll find current holds on the name. it is possible to use the refresh attribute to set it on the name record. press enter and verify your email address, then click
renew button.
step 4: return the library e-book to antiquity
your ebook will automatically return its expiration date.
if you want to return it, open adobe digital editions on your pc. make sure you are in library view. then hover your mouse over the cover of this book you’d like to return to the ideal panel. right click on the surface.
click return borrowed item.
you will be asked: are you sure you need to return this merchandise? click return the book will disappear from the screen.
If the cover doesn’t disappear, right click on the surface. then click remove from library. the book will disappear from the screen.
step 5: place and retrieve a hold
if a name is not available, the borrow button will be replaced by reserve click reserve next to the e-book. your wish then you will be prompted to enter your email address and then click the place a hold button.
whenever the ebook is available, you will receive an email.

By the time the email is sent, you have three times to drive back and test the ebook.
