a very charming writer named camden ford convinces olivia to join his writing group to overcome writer’s block and also to make new friends. however, some people in town start turning up dead and haiku poems are left next to their bodies.
Now anyone with language skills becomes a suspect, and Olivia now has to find the person responsible for the murders before she, too, meets a surprise ending. The protagonist of this book is called Olivia, who is a very rich woman and happens to be very independent.

She’s in her forties and everyone in town is always spreading gossip about her. she also has a well behaved poodle, which she spoils completely. every few pages, you’ll find her feeding her dog something to eat. The dog is very obedient and Olivia always takes her poodle everywhere.
The story has a good plot and there are enough twists and turns to keep it interesting. As Olivia begins to make more friends, things seem to be looking up until the murders begin. It is now suspected that the murders could be related to a certain gossip book that a member of the writing groups has been writing about a prominent family in the community.
New housing development is also being pushed at all costs. The murders could also be related to something else entirely, and Olivia and her writing group have to find the killer before someone else is killed. Olivia is a likeable character and the reader will also become familiar with other characters in the book. captain havilland is the name of the black poodle and he is a wonderful companion.
The pacing and setting of the book are quite good, and there are several characters that will make you want to continue reading the story. the environment is welcoming and you will find yourself lost in the lives of the people of this wonderful community. another character in the story is called dixie, and she is a skating waitress who turns out to be a dwarf.
there’s a barmaid named millay who’s always dying her hair, and these are just a few of the characters that make the book so charming. we also have believable characters, and the author has done a good job of showing the reader what it’s like to live the life of a writer.
The second book in this series is called “a deadly cliché.” In this story, we find Olivia Limoges walking her poodle when she discovers a dead body buried in the sand. This shocking discovery could be linked to a series of bizarre heists that have plagued Oyster Bay for some time now.

at each crime scene, the thieves placed strange illustrations. this includes a knife that goes through some butter, dolls that have silver spoons in their mouths, and a pack of cards without the queen. Olivia now realizes that each of these settings represents a cliché. To decipher these clues, Olivia enlists the help of her writing group.
The story becomes more intense when a tropical storm approaches. There is also the possibility that Olivia’s father will be discovered even though he is presumed to have died in a storm during her childhood. A member of his writing group then shares with Olivia his dream of becoming a journalist.
The events in the city therefore present a good story to launch a journalistic career. Olivia supports her friend’s ambition and now she finds herself trying to figure out the clichés left behind by the thieves. There are other stories going on in Olivia’s personal life, including the mystery of her missing father.
Even though she thinks he’s dead, there’s still a chance he’ll turn up alive. then there’s a betrayal that olivia doesn’t see coming, and when she comes, she now needs emotional support. Readers will find themselves fully immersed in Olivia’s life as horrific crimes are committed and someone has to find out who the culprits are.
The author has also created a warm community that readers will be interested in visiting all the time. olivia is a reserved character, but she also wants to be less cold with people. she is also interested in relaxing, and readers will discover a beautiful, intelligent, caring and self-confident woman even if she is not perfect.
Other characters in the story are cute too, including the sweet Laurel, who wants a career and hopes to become a mother one day. we also have millay, a tough young bartender who is also vulnerable. There is a computer geek named Harris who is unassuming but doesn’t realize that he is quite attractive.
the police chief’s name is rawlings, and olivia has a romantic feeling for him. The nice thing about a murder cliché is that the murders are sometimes overshadowed by the growth and development of the main characters.
