A film adaptation of the first book was released in October 2013, written and directed by Gavin Hood, co-produced by Card, and starring Butterfield as Ender. the novel has also been adapted into two comic book series.

2. the shadow of ender (shadow saga) – Andrew “ender” Wiggin wasn’t the only kid at Battle School; he was simply the best of the best. this is the story of another one of those precocious generals, the one they called bean-the one who became ender’s right-hand man, part of his team, in the final battle against the buggers.
3. Shadow of the Hegemon (Shadow Saga): With the external threat gone, Earth has become a battlefield once more. The Battle School kids are more than just heroes; they are potential weapons that can bring power to the countries that control them. one by one, the entire army of ender dragons is kidnapped. only the bean escapes; and ask for help from ender’s brother, pedro.

1. shadow puppets (shadow saga): peter wiggin, ender’s older and more ruthless brother, sees that any hope for earth’s future lies in restoring a sense of unity and purpose. and he has an irresistible call to loyalty from the young warriors of the land. With Bean by his side, the two of them will reshape our future.
2. First Encounters (Ender Series): This is a collection of four short stories. the first two take place when ender’s parents are children and teenagers. the following is the original novel “ender’s game”. The latter brings Ender and Jane together for the first time.
3. The Giant’s Shadow (Shadow Saga) – Bean and his wife Petra long for a safe place to build a family, but there is no place on earth that does not harbor his enemies. To find safety, Bean and Petra must retrace Ender’s footsteps. they must leave the earth behind, under the control of the hegemonic power, and look towards the stars.

1. A War of Gifts: A Tale of Ender (Ender Series) – A novella set during Ender Wiggin’s early years at Battle School where religious holidays are forbidden .
2. ender in exile (ender series): what happened during the years between ender’s game and the speaker of the dead? ender is now vilified as a ruthless killer. he is no longer allowed to live on earth, he goes into exile. With her sister Valentine, she chooses to leave the only home she’s ever known to begin a relativistic and revelatory journey beyond the stars.
3. Shadows in Flight (The Shadow Saga) – Bean flees to the stars with three of his children. the time dilation granted by the speed of their travel gives Earth’s scientists generations to search for a cure, to no avail. over time, they are forgotten. but the delphikis are about to make a discovery that will allow them to save themselves, and perhaps all of humanity in the days to come.

1. earth unware (formic wars): set one hundred years before ender’s game. humans thought they were alone in the galaxy. When the Digger mining ship’s telescopes spot a fast-moving object entering the system, it’s hard to know what to do with it. it is massive and moves at a significant fraction of the speed of light. but the ship has other problems. worrying about a distant object that may or may not be an alien spacecraft seems… unimportant. They are wrong. This is humanity’s first contact with an alien race. the first formic war is about to begin.
2. earth on fire (formian wars): slim victor beat the alien ship to earth, but just barely. not soon enough to convince skeptical governments that a threat existed. they didn’t believe it until the space stations, ships, and colonies suddenly burst into flames. And when that happened, only Mazer Rackham and the Mobile Ops Police could move fast enough to deal with the threat.
3. The Earth Awakens (Formic Wars): When the alien ship howled through the solar system, disrupted communications. so the earth and moon didn’t know they had been invaded until the ship went into earth orbit and started landing terraforming crews in china. politics and pride delayed the response on earth, and on the moon, corporate power struggles seemed more urgent than distant deaths. but there are some men and women who see that if the earth does not wake up and come together, the planet could be lost.

1. the swarm (formic wars) – the earth has been reorganized for defense. there is now a hegemon, a planetary official responsible for keeping all the nations that were once at war at bay. there is a polemarch, responsible for organizing all the military forces on the planet in the new international fleet. but there is an enemy within: ambition and politics. greed and self interest. Will Bingwen, Mazer Rackam, Victor Delgado, and Lem Juke be able to sidetrack these very human enemies in time to create a weapon that can effectively defend humanity in the inexorable Second Formic War?
2. Sons of the fleet (fleta school) – Dabeet Ochoa is a very intelligent boy. top of his class in all schools. but he doesn’t think he has a chance at fleet school, because he has no connections to the fleet. that he knows. At least until the day Colonel Graff arrives at his school for an interview.
3. The Hive (Formic Wars) – A coalition of nations from Earth barely fought against the first explorer of the Formics. boat. It is now clear that there is a mothership on the edge of the system, and the aliens are poised to take over the earth by force. Can the warring nations and corporations of the land put aside their differences and mount an effective defense?
