how the pseudonym came about

a pseudonym was created for the following reasons: one, if the authors chose to have all their names published in the books, then the book would be found in different places within the library, making it difficult for readers to find . especially with the prospect of creating many series. And secondly, the creators of the book were looking to place their warriors series next to brian jacques’s redwall book series because during that time, it was the closest book series that had the same plot as the warriors. Therefore, they needed a surname that could be easily found near Jacques and so the surname hunter was formulated. everyone agreed that it was a great choice, as well as being close to jacques’s last name; he had the perfect quality of connoting a cat’s hunting instincts. then the name erin was voted on, which is the name of vicky holmes’s favorite characters. the name erin also invokes a strong personality and not the feminine type.
