one of my favorite amazon subscriptions is kindle unlimited. I’m not always a member, but I’d say at least 50% of the time, I have an active membership and it’s a great way to access millions of ebooks to read on your kindle ereader or the kindle app on your phone. or tablet.
The thing about amazon is that they have so many different subscriptions and programs that it can be hard to keep track of what they include. there’s prime, there’s audible, there’s amazon kids +, there’s prime reading and first readings and probably a dozen more that i don’t even know about.

what is kindle unlimited?
kindle unlimited is a monthly subscription that gives you access to a huge library of kindle ebooks: over a million titles!
It usually costs $9.99 per month and then you can read as many books as you like from Kindle’s unlimited library.
Audible narration is also included for thousands of titles (you can see all the ones that have narration here). you’ll also see a small headphone icon on amazon if you include narration.

some frequently asked questions about kindle unlimited
do you need a kindle to use kindle unlimited? don’t! You can use the free Kindle app on your phone or tablet and your Kindle Unlimited books (or any other Kindle books you buy). With that being said, I love my kindle reader and can’t recommend one highly enough. I wrote a whole post about why I love my kindle here and why I think it’s worth buying.
what books are worth reading on kindle unlimited? I’ll be the first to say that, of the millions of titles on kindle unlimited, many of them probably won’t interest you to read. but there are plenty of gems: I’m working on a list of my favorite kindle unlimited books coming out next week (the offer will be gone by then, so get it now!).
do you own the books you get from kindle unlimited? no, it’s like a lending library: once you cancel your subscription, you will no longer have access to those books.
How many Kindle Unlimited titles can you have at one time? kindle unlimited limits you to 20 books at a time, so once you’ve checked out twenty books, you’ll need to return one to get a new one in your library.

what’s the difference between core reading and unlimited kindle? core reading is a free benefit that comes with your core membership and gives you access to approximately a thousand titles, compared to more than one unlimited million titles on kindle.
how do i cancel kindle unlimited? just sign in to your amazon account and in the “accounts and lists” menu, look for “your kindle unlimited”. when you click on it it will open a new page and there is a button on the left side that says “cancel unlimited kindle membership”. click that and it will allow you to cancel (your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period). also, when you go to cancel kindle unlimited, they often offer you another discount like a free month or three more months at 99 cents a month or something.
