A popular book in the Puppy Place series by author Ellen Miles is titled “Buddy.” Scholastic publication released this book in 2007. This book consists of the main characters like Charles Peterson, Skipper, Mrs. peterson, lizzie peterson, etc. The story begins by showing Lizzie and Charles Peterson being good to the puppies. They have always wanted to have a personal puppy that they can play with and spend time with. but their mother won’t let them have one full time. so, in the meantime, they try to fulfill her wish by helping take care of the puppies that need a new home. Lizzie Peterson joins a local shelter to care for new arrivals. Newcomer to Skipper Shelter delivers a big surprise in the form of 3 newborn puppies. when lizzie breaks the news to her brother charles about her, they make the decision to raise the 4 dogs in her house. their parents allow them to keep the dogs only until they find the right home for them. The Peterson brothers wonder how her mother can resist even the adorable puppies. when mrs. Peterson can no longer bear the sadness of her children, she allows them to have one of the puppies. they happily name him friend.
another exciting volume in this series is called ‘pugsley’. It was published in 2008 under School Paperback Publishing. At the beginning of this book, Charles and Lizzie are shown to continue to show their love for the puppies. And now that they have a puppy of their own, man, Lizzie thinks she still doesn’t spend enough time with dogs. so, she decides to start helping her aunt named amanda de ella at her dog daycare. At the nursery, she meets an adorable puppy named Pugsley. Even though Lizze finds him adorable, the owners think about getting rid of him because they feel it’s too much for them to take care of a Pugsley. Lizzie thinks about helping Pugsley learn good behavior and give up his nickname of Mr. parasite. Just for being good, the owners will decide to reconsider their decision to give it away and also find it a good forever home.
