To change the spellbooks, you must pray at the astral altar on the southeast side of the lunar island. To get here the quickest way would be to talk to lokar searunner at the westernmost pier in relekka who will take you to the pirate cove then head to the pirate ship and talk to the pirate captain to get to the moon island.

Use a Moon Island Teleporter, which is a reward given on all levels of treasure trails. you can get numerous scrolls as a reward, not just one.

after completing the lunar diplomacy quest, players can also place a lunar island teleport inside their teleport chamber with 50 build and 69 magic.
If your membership runs out, your spellbook will return to normal and you’ll have to use one of the above routes to change it back.

The Ancient Spellbook is an OSRS Spellbook unlocked for players after completing the Desert Treasure Quest. this spellbook is extremely combat oriented unlike the lunar spellbook. this book includes 16 combat teleports and 9 teleports. Death and blood runes and other costly runes are used in this book, and require at least 50 magic to access.

after completing the desert treasure, the fastest way to change your spellbook is to find a strange player’s house and pray at their ancient or hidden altar. the quickest way to do this is to go to the “minigame group finder”, select the dropdown menu and choose “player-owned houses”. use any clan chat to find your altar. this method will not work for ironmans.

Players can also change their spellbook by accessing the altar inside the pyramid of jaldraocht. This pyramid is located in the Kharidian Desert, southwest of Pollnivneach and north of Menaphos. there is a rear entrance on the south side of the pyramid for direct access to the altar.

If you’re trying to change your spellbook from the ancients to normal, you might find it easier to head to the lunar island and pray at the astral altar, provided you’ve completed the lunar diplomacy quest.
