about james dashner:
Born in Austell, Georgia, on November 26, 1972, James Dashner is a well-known author of books for young adult readers, as well as writing a few adult novels. After graduating from Duluth High School in 1991, he attended Brigham Young University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. he originally worked in finance before deciding to pursue writing.

In the maze runner, which is book one, the gladers, a group of children who, like him, are alone, are trying to maintain a sense of normalcy that they think they will possibly remember. they do so by adhering to the rules of their micro-society.

book two, the scorch trials, sees them pushed out of their comfort zones after being forced to fight for their lives while also searching for answers.
The third book in the Maze Runner series, The Death Cure continues to follow the gladers as they make a final decision that could lead to life or death.
The fourth and final novel in this series, Prequel: The Order to Kill, takes the reader back to how the gladers got to where they are and the fall of humanity as they know it.
These novels deal with double crosses, survival of the fittest, and total chaos. the decisions that the gladers must make become more difficult and often do not give the expected results.

book one of the 13th reality series; The Curious Letter Diary follows Atticus Higginbottom, aka Tick, who is your normal everyday 13-year-old. That is until he receives a letter that predicts events that could be the destruction of reality.
the quest for dark infinity is number two in the series. people from all realities are going totally crazy and people are just disappearing. There’s a hint that a new weapon is in the works, but Tick isn’t sure how to prevent this from happening.

book three, the blade of hope shattered, see how things change by tic. He is being educated in science, but just as he begins to make some progress, he creates the sword of hope broken and ticking, sato, paul and sofia have a dangerous task to complete that they cannot fail.
The Void of Mist and Thunder is the fourth book in the series and will be published in stages.
dashner’s dream came true when he found out that the maze runner was going to be made into a movie. Due to its hitting theaters in February, this movie will be highly anticipated by Dashner fans. she has been fortunate to participate in the film project. she giving feedback, meeting the actors and will also appear in the movie.
james dashner created jimmy fincher in 1998. believing the story to be a horrible attempt at writing, he gave up and decided to start over by writing a simple outline turned book map. he finally came up with a coherent story. he sent letters to any agent or publisher he could find. rejection letters began to pour in, and without giving up he sent more letters to three small publishers. Cedar Fort, a publishing house owned by the Church of Latter-day Saints, finally expressed interest in him. eventually they published it and the rest as they say is history.
In writing these books for children and young adults, Dashner feels he can inspire them to achieve their dreams by telling them how hard it was for him to publish and encouraging them not to give up, just like the characters in his books. .
