jd kirk is a popular scottish writer of thrillers, mysteries and crime novels. He is particularly famous for writing the DC Logan series of novels with Glasgow-based Detective Chief Inspector Jack Logan in the title role. His books are very successful and are known for their rich history and intriguing content. kirk is a resident of the scottish highlands. he lives there with his loving wife, his 2 children and several sturdy umbrellas. he had started writing at a very young age. Recently, Kirk decided to publish a crime novel under his original name. The story is not a comedy in any sense, but some of the characters have a hint of humor. Kirk states that the story is loosely inspired by a true story. once, he went for a walk with his dog and his daughter through the woods and when the dog got into the trees and couldn’t come back, he asked his daughter to stay put until he came back with the dog. dog. When Kirk came back after a few minutes, he couldn’t find her anywhere. Suddenly, she appeared and scared him. but he felt quite powerless in that terrifying moment and the idea that someone had kidnapped his daughter stuck in his mind for several weeks, eventually inspiring him to use it in his first novel. Every time someone asks Kirk for advice on how to start working on his first book, he tells them to take time out of their writing obsession, live a little, and then continue working harder.

As the challenge of solving this case becomes more and more difficult, Jack becomes much more attentive and determined. he knows that if he is not careful enough, the case could become the last of his career. this book is also fast-paced and has a mix of suspense and dark humor.
