jennifer mcmahon is a prominent american author, very popular for writing suspense, suspense and literature & fiction books. Throughout her career, she has written independent novels, many of which have become huge successes. McMahon was born in 1968 in Hartford, Connecticut, United States. Initially, she used to live in Barre, Vermont, but now she has moved to Montpelier, Vermont. author mcmahon lives with her partner named drea in a civil union and has a daughter with her, named zella. McMahon completed his graduation from Goddard University and then studied poetry at the University of Vermont. McMahon’s debut novel came out in 2007 under the name Promise Not to Tell. Harper’s Pocket Books had published this book. this book was described as part ghost story and part mystery thriller, by Publishers Weekly. After its tremendous premiere, the book was also published in Germany under the Rowohlt Verlag publication. The following year the book was published in the UK by Orion Publishing. After some time, the author McMahon gave up the rights for the publication of the Italian and French versions of the novel. Author McMahon followed up her book debut with another thriller titled Island of Lost Girls. This book went on to appear on the New York Times bestseller list. Subsequently, this novel was also released in England and Germany. McMahon’s next book in her writing career is called Dismantled, which was later nominated for the LAMBA Literary Award. The book also had releases in the Netherlands, Germany, and England. In addition to mystery thrillers, author McMahon also wrote a fictional novel about lesbian teens. The book, titled My Tiki Girl, has been added to the American Library Association’s Rainbow List.

mcmahon spent his early years growing up in his grandmother’s suburban connecticut home. At the time, McMahon was fairly convinced that a ghost named Virgil haunted the attic of the house. Author McMahon attempted to write her first life story when she was in third grade. In 1991, she completed her graduation, which she followed an MFA writing program from the University of Vermont. The next few years of McMahon’s life saw her develop a poem, which later took the form of a story and eventually became a novel. this made her decide to take some time to think about whether she wanted to write fiction or poetry. And after touring around the country several times, McMahon returned to Vermont and began staying in a cabin that had no running water, electricity, or any other necessary facilities. however, she did have the company of her drea’s partner. The two of them then began to build their house together. author mcmahon says such life experiences have allowed her to take on the roles of farmworker, house painter, easter bunny, homeless shelter staffer, counselor for children and adults with mental illness, film artist, stuck, pizza delivery girl mcmahon quit her last job in 2000 and has been working as a full-time writer ever since. In 2004, author McMahon was blessed with a baby girl, whom she named Zella. As of today, McMahon and Drea reside in their old Victorian home in Montpelier. Some of the neighbors think her house looks like the Addams family house, which gives McMahon immense pleasure.

one of the first novels written by jennifer mcmahon in her career is titled ‘the winter people’. It was published by Doubleday Publishing in 2014. Important characters in this book have been described by author McMahon as Sara Harrison Shea, Gertie, Ruthie, Alice, and Fawn. The plot takes place in West Hall, Vermont. At the beginning of the story, West Hall is shown to have always been a strange town related to its ancient legends and disappearances. The most mysterious disappearance on the list is that of Harrison Shea, whose body was discovered in the fields behind her own home in 1908. Harrison Shea’s death had occurred a few months after the tragic death of Shea’s daughter named gertie. Ruthie, 19, currently resides on Harrison Shea’s farm with her younger brother, Fawn, and her mother, Alice. The decision to live on the remote farm was Alice’s, who always insisted on living off the grid. This decision of hers suddenly becomes dangerous when Ruthie wakes up one fine morning to find that Alice is missing and there is no trace of her anywhere on her. As ruthie frantically searches for clues, she comes across a copy of harrison shea’s diary that was hidden under the floorboards in her mother’s bedroom. The sudden appearance of the diary plunges Ruthie into the deep mystery of Harrison Shea’s fate. Ruthie eventually learns that she’s not the only one looking for someone. but it seems that ruthie is the only person who can prevent history from repeating itself.

Another exciting novel that author McMahon wrote in her career is called Breathe Not a Word. It was released in 2011 by Harper’s Pocket Books. Author McMahon has mentioned the main characters in the story of the book such as Lisa, Sam, Phoebe, etc. At the beginning of this book, Lisa is described as being a 12-year-old girl who has a little brother named Sam. On a normal summer night, Lisa walks into the woods behind her farm and doesn’t come back. Numerous attempts to find her are in vain. Before her disappearance, Lisa had informed her younger brother, Sam, that there is a secret door that opens to a magical place. she even told sam that she would go through that door and meet the king of the fairies and become a modest queen. she spends a period of 15 years after this incident. Sam meets a girl named Phoebe and falls in love with her. Sam has now become a sensible and practical man, who is not afraid of the dark. he doesn’t even have nightmares. In fact, Sam helps Phoebe overcome her own fears. Suddenly, several creepy and unexplained events begin to occur in the couple’s lives, presenting a great challenge for the headstrong Sam. he feels that his realistic views of the world are being challenged. And as Sam and Phoebe try to question the truth about themselves, a terrible promise made by Sam a few years ago is revealed. this promise seems to have the power to destroy them all.
