some readers enjoyed libby and brendan as they had interesting personalities. they are strong characters who fascinated readers at all times. Fans of the novel loved this, and found that the mystery of libby really grabbed their attention, making them want to keep reading. it is well written and attracted readers. some couldn’t wait to read more of the book when they were doing other things, as they had to know what would happen next.

Readers enjoy how Jo Goodman tells her story, including this book, she has her signature style where she doesn’t reveal the big picture, she just reveals bits and pieces that slowly come together. fans of the novel found this to be a twisted and moody read. everything was connected and well developed, with everything woven together in such a way that it doesn’t depend on the reader reading previous books to understand what’s going on.

“all i ever needed” is the third novel in the “compass club” series and was published in 2003. the daughter of the late earl of tremont, who is called lady sophie colley, is imprisoned by her mercenary cousins who They want her. marry for money that her father did not have. The Marquess of Eastlyn shows up to clear up a rumor that he and Sophie are engaged. the last thing he thought would happen is that he would be captivated by her honey colored eyes. he proposes to her right then and there and she promptly turns him down.
Her rejection is far from personal, yet she finds it hard to resist. all his willpower is put to the test when he returns. their desire is simply impossible for them to deny, but she has to in order to protect the east from some past intrigue. this intrigue will put them in very real, very present danger.
They’ll have to work together, up close and personal, because after unraveling the horrifying mystery, will they get a chance to be the love of her life?
Readers can get a sense of how the characters move and feel things by how realistic the descriptions in the book are. this is another winner from an author who writes high-quality romance novels. Fans enjoyed her first Jo Goodman book and were surprised by the way things happen slowly, requiring patience on the part of the reader. this series keeps readers waiting, and the payoff is worth it.
“beyond an evil kiss” is the fourth novel in the “compass club” series and was released in 2004. evan marchman has just received his inheritance, and it includes: a fortune, a title and land. That said, he is miserable as the new Duke of Westphal; as he prefers the adventures and intrigue of his compass club to the responsibilities that come with an inheritance. he also has a pupil in the form of a beautiful woman who wants his help to unravel a mystery that draws them into a universe of hidden pleasures.
Ria Ashby (who is the director of an all-girls academy) wants West to help her find a student who disappeared without a trace. She is distracted, however, by the passion in Evan’s green eyes and her mischievous smile. her search to find the girl leads them to a secret society that is formed by the governing board of the school. It is a group where sensuality reigns over everything and power is a great seducer.
