Joshua Hood is a well-known American writer of suspense, fiction, and war novels. he is particularly famous for writing the search and destroy series of books. Author Hood is a graduate of the University of Memphis. Before turning to writing as a career, he used to serve in the military. hood was part of the 82nd airborne division for a period of 5 years. During that time, he served as a team leader in the Parachute Infantry Regiment. hood deployed to iraq in 2005, where he conducted combat operations while supporting operation iraqi freedom from 2005 to 2006. between 2007 and 2008, he was a squad leader of his regiment and stationed in afghanistan for operation of lasting freedom. he has been honored for his valor in the furious pursuit operation. He currently serves as a member of the swat team in memphis, tennessee. he is said to have carried out numerous operations in the united states by associating himself with the dea, us marshals, the fbi, the secret service, the atf, etc.
author hood is a huge fan of vince flynn and says he has been greatly inspired by his work. He also likes to read the books by Mitch Rap, who is the main character in the Vince Flynn books.
