les roberts is one of the most reputable authors in america who likes to write his novels based on mystery, literature & fiction and suspense genres. He is particularly famous for writing the Milan Jacovich and Saxon series of novels. Author Roberts was born Lester Roubert in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on July 18, 1937. His parents were Eleanor Roubert and Lester Nathaniel. In the year 1968, Roberts decided to change his name to Roberts. Before beginning his writing career, author Roberts graduated from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. After that, he studied at Roosevelt University from 1954 to 1956. Right after completing his academic studies, author Roberts joined the United States Army and served for a three-year term from 1960 to 1962. He married Gail Medland in 1957, but divorced her in 1980. Before divorcing, the couple had two children named Darren Jon and Valerie Lynne. Roberts has recently become a grandfather after the birth of his granddaughter named Shea Thompson. As of today, author Roberts lives in his quiet home located in Cleveland, Ohio. He recently became a vegan after watching an inspiring show called “Peaceful Kingdom: The Journey Home” in 2012. The debut book in this series is titled ‘Pepper Pike’. It was published by ‘Gray and Company’ publishers in the year 1998. At the beginning of this book, Milan introduces himself as a private investigator, who is also a former footballer and a Vietnam veteran. he really likes klobasa sandwiches and stroh’s beer. from time to time, he ends up finding problems in his life. On one occasion, Milan receives a late-night call from an advertising executive named Richard Amber. he offers her thousands of dollars for a bodyguard service for 12 years. after accepting the offer milan arrives at the amber house, but finds no one there. The next morning, Richard’s wife hires Milan to find her missing husband. As soon as he launches the search operation for Richard Amber, he comes across a haunting country club where he nearly lost his life. Later, he meets a Cleveland mob boss named Don Giancarlo Alessandro. Searching the meanest streets of Cleveland, Milan Jacovich crosses paths with Don Giancarlo’s dangerous nephew named Victor Gaimari, as well as the Governor of Ohio.

Milan also knows that Buddy is an ex-con and behind his dubious fashion and boyish facade is a potentially lethal human weapon. the plot of this book begins with the description of the fashion of the 1970s in which polyester suits, white leather shoes and white belts were worn. It was popularly known as ‘Full Cleveland’, but has now become obsolete. but, buddy bustly still wears the old fashion as he likes it very much. Later, Milan Jacovich learns that Buddy was hired by Victor Gaimari for putting obstacles in his way during his investigative operations related to Victor’s smuggling business.
