The Sister is the first full-length novel by Louise Jensen. In this story, the main character is named Grace. Grace never foresaw that her life would change, but now she has changed forever. she herself has not been the same since her best friend died. charlie and grace were very close and grace thought she knew charlie very well, but did she really know her?
on top of that, grace can’t forget the last words charlie said to her. That’s when her friend told her that she had done something terrible and that she hoped that Grace could forgive her. Charlie never knew what that was. the last time she saw charlie sticks out in her mind; the fact that she can’t forget about her makes her want to look for some answers from her. she is now 25 years old and hasn’t seen her friend in ten years.

grace decides she wants to open the box they buried all those years ago. in the memory capsule box, they put things that were precious to them at the time. Charlie had also managed to put an envelope before it was buried in the ground, and at the time she had no idea what was in that pink envelope. Hoping to find some answers, she deliberately digs up the capsule.
at a minimum, it will provide you with answers or lack thereof and you’ll know for sure. For the past few months, Grace has been thinking about her friend nonstop. she can’t turn off her thoughts, and they are starting to take up so much of her time that she feels like she can’t go on without trying to find the answers. she even she is affecting the way she interacts with her boyfriend dan.
She finds out there were a lot of things about her best friend forever that she didn’t even know. they met in high school and became fast friends, sticking together even as they became teenagers.
grace finally decides she wants to track down charlie’s father. But then something unexpected happens and a girl claiming to be Charlie’s sister appears in the foreground. Anna could very well be the long-lost sister of her best friend, who knows? on the other hand, anna doesn’t really fit into the whole picture in a neat way. if she is charlie’s sister, how come grace has no idea who hers is and has never heard of her before?
It all doesn’t matter too much, and Grace finds herself growing closer to Anna in a way she didn’t expect. meeting her is like getting a friend back and even finding a new family. soon, anna hangs out with grace and her boyfriend all the time. Before they both know it, Anna has moved into Dan and Grace’s house like she’s always been there.

Although everything starts out great at first, it seems that things have taken a turn and not for the better. things are starting to disappear together from your home, and something definitely seems off. grace gets weird calls out of the blue all the time. Dan is also acting strangely, and on her part, Grace begins to suspect that someone is following her. Could it all be in her head, just a weird figment of her imagination?
grace has no idea what’s going on, but she knows one thing: this is not normal. It turns out that there may also be some things she doesn’t know, not only about her dead friend of hers but also about her living sister of hers, if she really is. Grace doesn’t know at this point that someone is who she says she is.
with someone following her, grace feels like she might be in danger. With Charlie’s death fresh on her mind, she experiences new guilt at the situation, wondering if there was anything she could have done to save her.
Is grace innocent in this situation or is she forgetting something that could be crucial? Is Anna really who she says she is, or is she someone else entirely? As things start to get creepier and the whole situation starts to get darker than she expected, could this all be the result of some unfinished business regarding her best friend?
