martin edwards is a fiction author. In 2008, he was named one of the 50 Best Advisors in the Northwest by En Magazine. Edwards has also been routinely named for the UK. list of the best lawyers. The Liverpool Law Society also awarded his team with “Team of the Year” awards in 2007 and 2011.
His debut novel introduced readers to Harry Devlin, a lawyer from Liverpool, for the first time. was published in 1991 and was recommended for best crime novel memorial dagger. He was one of the early founders and was also a member of the cwa northern chapter and assassination squad. edwards was the vice president of c.w.a. in 2015 and officially became its president in 2017. In 2011 he joined the detection club and became the first archivist. he later became the eighth president of the club and to this day he is still a rare person who has held two titles of president of different literary clubs at the same time.
His book dealing with murder and studying the time between the first world war and the wii won multiple awards (an edgar, agatha, macavity and hrf keating). she made the short list for an anthony.
He has also reviewed crime novels, written introductions for new editions, written columns for magazines and print, contributed essays and became a series advisor in 2014 for the classic crime series presented by the British Library.
