Unfortunately, as of May 2022, there is no confirmed release date for Ghost Season 3. however, we do know that it is at least on the way, and the series has been confirmed to return for a third installment in December 2021.
It is believed that filming began in February 2022, although the current status of production has not been confirmed.
With this in mind, it seems likely that the show will follow the launch slot of the second season and be on our screens in November. we’ll let you know once we know something more definitive!
power book ii: ghost season 3 cast: who’s in it?
the show focuses on tariq st patrick (michael rainey jr), son of james ‘ghost’ st patrick and tasha green-st patrick, so we can expect him to return along with the main cast:

The second season saw the deaths of popular characters teacher Carrie Milgram (Melanie Liburd), her high school lover Ezekiel ‘Zeke’ Cross (Daniel Bellomy), and Daniel Sunjata’s Mecca/Dante Spears. however, that doesn’t mean they won’t return to the show in flashbacks or other scenes.
Lethal Weapon star Keesha Sharp will join Season 3 as a recurring character in a major role. sharp will play professor harper bonet, “a bohemian progressive intellectual beauty” (deadline). as production ramps up, we could expect more cast announcements.
In March, Deadline reported that three more stars were added to the cast list: Gbenga Akinnagbe, Kyle Vincent Terry, and Caroline Chikezie.

gbenga, who previously appeared on the deuce, will play ron samuel jenkins, better known as rsj. The business mogul knows his way among the elite, working through college and Harvard Business School to get to where he is today.
gotham star kyle takes on the role of obi, an educated British man who is as used to running a crack business as he is to handling a gun.
While Caroline (of Mayhem fame) is noma, someone describes her as “a powerful, worldly woman with a majestic presence who has built her wealth on an illicit global empire and isn’t afraid to protect it by any means necessary.”

After the explosive season two finale, Monet will surely discover that her husband Lorenzo Tejada (Berto Colón) killed their son Zeke in a case of mistaken identity.
after getting away with the murder of professor jabari reynolds (justin mcmanus), tariq, who initially wanted out of the drug game, has decided to stay and become the new contact now that mecca is out of the picture .
on the other hand, brayden, who saved tariq from a life in prison after confessing to being the student selling drugs on campus and exposing himself as the CEO of his drug dealing app, of course, he betrayed when he created tariq. Lauren, a college sweetheart, whose body was found after a car accident.
The finale also saw the return of NYPD Detective Blanca Rodriguez (Monique Gabriela Curnen), who just so happened to be the cop assigned to the confidential informant mecca. Holding a grainy picture of Tariq, Blanca’s return is sure to pose major problems for Tariq as he investigates the Mecca shooting.
Season three will also kick off with Cooper Saxe joining forces with prosecutor Jenny Sullivan (Paton Ashbrook) to report on Davis Maclean’s dodgy lawyers. Meanwhile, Maclean himself is working to get his brother Theo Rollins out of prison for a murder he didn’t commit.
