purim is a Jewish holiday that has its roots in the biblical story of esther. The celebration remembers Queen Esther and her daring, who saved the Hebrew people from Haman’s plan to eliminate them.

I have been familiar with the story of Esther for most of my life, but knew very little about how Jews celebrate Purim today. So, I did what I usually do in these situations: I grabbed my team and headed to the library! we found some excellent children’s books about purim.
These books are wonderful choices for both families celebrating Purim and those looking to learn more about how Purim is celebrated. We loved these children’s books on Purim and I hope your family will too.
