That’s where they discover that Carlos the Jackal, a notorious dangerous assassin, is the leader planning the attacks on Jason. The story unfolds with Jason trying to outsmart Carlos. What follows is a carefully concocted series of conspiracies, suspense, and hair-raising action as Jason makes decisions to carry out the search for him.

The book ends with Marie discovering the truth of Jason’s past real life and that he was a US government project that was using him to rival Carlos and eventually kill him. Bourne Supremacy is the second book in this trilogy. The story continues with Jason getting most of his memory back.

He teaches at the University of Maine and lives happily with his savior, Marie. At the same time, a situation arises within the United States government; a Chinese communist plans to wreak havoc on the country. the government decides to use jason to kill the communist.

In The Bourne Identity, Jason became a murderer after his wife and children were killed by a plane during a war. Being an unfortunate victim of circumstances, his hatred for the assassins led him to play the role of rival to Carlos the Jackal.

This time, the government hatches a plan to kidnap Jason’s lover, Marie. This situation plunges Jason back into his radical mission of revenge; a state of mind the government wanted jason to be in. he finally manages to kill the Chinese and they nearly kill him himself.

marie manages to escape from her kidnappers and meets up with jason again and reveals the whole plan they were unaware of. these two books and more have been adapted into movies starring top-tier actors and actresses. other novels have also been made into television miniseries.
