Ellery is a young woman who has had her share of “love challenges” and now leads a lonely life. dating a man for four years and not being able to support him as a husband shattered her world. she then she is connor, a man who at first is complicated like her past relationships. throughout the story, she matures and is finally able to approach love life from a different perspective. she starts taking care of ellery; he was always there for her, even when he said he didn’t want her to be.

love in between is the first series of love novels by sandi lynn. the story has two sections and each chapter is narrated in first person perspective.
The first section is narrated by Lily Gilmore recounting the events that transpired on her supposed wedding day and how her love life finally came to an end. her wedding plan had been going well until she stumbled upon her fiancé having sex with her sister in church moments before her wedding.

lily grew up with a famous rock star for a father, a great womanizer, a man who had an endless list of affairs with other women. deception, cheating and lies are all she knew as a child, and so she swore never to allow herself to live the kind of life her mother led. the two characters cross paths when lily moves into the apartment where luke lives. Sam is one of the supporting characters and Luke’s best friend who helps Lily carry her luggage to her new apartment. From their first meeting, Lily and Sam become instant friends. However, Lily and Luke’s first meeting is completely off the mark, as Luke greets her with hostility. However, as Sam and Lily get to know each other, Lily later learns of Luke’s grief at losing a loved one. Sam plays a crucial role in establishing Luke and Lily’s friendship, which ultimately turns into a sensational romance.
The author does a fantastic job of bringing Luke and Lily together. Throughout the novel, we see their friendship grow and transform into a love that not even fate can end. it’s brilliant how they manage to work out their differences, work through their past, and ultimately come out stronger as a couple. Sandi Lynn’s first series of love novels are brilliantly woven together, aside from the main characters, the supporting characters play an important role in the overall love story.
