For my son, I found out that he likes to dance a bit, so we chose a sound book with lots of fun songs that have a longer playing time, so he can dance for a while while playing with other toys. it also has very bright colors with a lot of contrast, so it is interesting for him to flip through the book and look at the pictures. but we have also had other similar books that do not interest him at all. so it all depends on your baby’s personality and how interested he may be.

carlie pop soundbooks (french/spanish) are lesser known soundbooks to english readers (obviously) but i found them here in asia as one of their lines was translated into chinese (published in taiwan ).
My son really likes these books and loves flipping through the pages and touching the buttons inside. I think it’s an interesting type of talking book that’s different from the other common types available, so I’ve put it on this list to let people know about it.
As an added plus, if you want to introduce your child to a bit of French/Spanish early on, then this is a good opportunity to!
