Lust: A Seven Deadly Sins Story was the first installment in the series and premiered live on April 10, 2021. The film follows the story of Tiffany Cooper, played by Keri Hilson, who was about to get married. with his soulmate. King Damon, played by Tobias Truvillion. Meet Trey, played by Durrell ‘Tank’ Babbs, Damon’s friend and godfather.
Lust enters the picture as sparks begin to fly between Tiffany and Trey. Everything spirals out of control when the bride and best man act on their feelings of lust for each other.

Envy: A Seven Deadly Sins Story is the second in the series and premiered live on April 17, 2021. The film follows the story of Keisha Jones, played by Serayah McNeill, who discovers she is part of a rich family. Instead of enjoying what her new family is willing to provide her with, Ella Keisha plans to take everything away from her family.
On the deathbed of Gabrielle Flores’ father, he informs her that he has a daughter he never told the family about. Gabrielle, played by Rose Rollins, invites Keisha into the family with open arms. Keisha becomes jealous of Gabrielle’s life. she plans to take back what she thought she had lost all those years.

After a full year, the third Deadly Sins movie premiered live on April 16, 2022. It is the story of successful single attorney Chastity Jeffries, played by Michelle Williams. She meets Xavier Collins, played by Antonio Cupo, who is also a lawyer. seems to be just what chastity looks for in a man. he is handsome, smart and being a lawyer is the icing on the cake.
They understand each other because they have a lot in common. For a while, things go well until Xavier’s affection turns to jealousy, obsession, threats, and anger. Chastity has to get rid of Xavier so she can return to a life of safety and peace.
greed
The fourth film in the Deadly Sins series premiered on Lifetime on April 23, 2022. It follows the rise and fall of interior decorator Zuri Maxwell, played by Monique Coleman. He has a successful career, a loving family, friends, and a good man in his life, artist Stephon Gardner, played by Nathan Witte. that would make most people happy, but zuri wanted more. And since he wanted more, he couldn’t understand why Stephon was satisfied with what little he had.
so, zuri leaves stephon like a hot potato and gets involved with godfrey anderson, played by eric benét. Zuri saw him as a wealthy businessman who had more than Stephon ever wanted. when he found out that godfrey was illegally obtaining wealth from him, he also found out that he was his accomplice and was in deep trouble. he lost everything he had and almost lost his life.

zuri had compromised her values and morals due to greed. In the end, she came clean and went back to Stephon.
how did the movies come about?
The Seven Deadly Sins movies are based on the anthology series written by Victoria Christopher Murray.
when shaun robinson, also an executive producer, heard about the seven deadly sins anthology, she teamed up with jakes production company and all life to make the movies happen.
They originally planned to shoot the first three movies: Lust, Envy, and Greed back to back. due to covid-19, they were only able to shoot the first two movies last year. Lust and Envy was filmed in Canada and aired in April 2021. Anger and Greed moved to Atlanta and aired for life in April 2022, exactly one year later.

will there be more seven deadly sins movies?
Longtime fans wonder if there will be movies based on the other three deadly sins: pride, gluttony, and sloth. maybe there is.
jakes and robinson said they want to film the other deadly sins if the first four movies go well. As of now, Victoria Christopher Murray has not written any books about the other three deadly sins. therefore, there are no scripts for any more films in the series.
