Teachers, like students, must be actively learning at all times. one of my favorite ways to learn is through quality books written for teachers. you can be like me and have a mile long wish list on amazon! 😉 I reviewed hundreds of titles and narrowed down 12 of the best books for preschool and kindergarten teachers to read.

Although some of these book titles specify pre-K or kindergarten, they are all useful reading for teachers (or even parents!) of children ages 4-6. I also included a book designed specifically for parents, but I think it would also be a great read for teachers of young learners.

After narrowing my list down to 12 books every preschool or kindergarten teacher should read, I decided to focus on reading one of these books each of the next 12 months. For less than the cost of a teaching conference, I can learn from some of the world’s top experts in child development, literacy, preschool, play-based learning, STEM, and more.
