tracie peterson’s rivers of gold is another masterpiece written by none other than herself. the character development in the book is one of the best, it’s excellent. In this book, Miranda Colton is separated from her fellow travelers and left for dead. She luckily finds herself in the care of a Teddy Davenport, a botanist scholar whose roots are in England. she is extremely grateful to the botanist but wishes to continue her journey to the gold mines in the north where her fellow travelers have gone. she longs to find her friends, but she fears that her chances are getting smaller with each passing day. on the other hand, teddy is deeply committed to his research on the unique landscape of the rugged yukon frontier. he disturbs miranda’s patience. this opens a deep tenderness in her character. Each passing day now brings them closer together, so that Miranda certainly finds herself struggling internally with her earlier dreams of her. when finally a menacing force from her past threatens to destroy all the things she’s ever loved. Tracie Peterson has written many more books. she has also co-authored many other interesting books.
