Adrian Mckinty is an Irish/British novelist. He was born in Northern Ireland in 1968 and grew up in Carrickfergus. He studied law at the University of Warwick and politics and philosophy at the University of Oxford. in the 1990s adrian moved to the united states where he worked in different places before moving to colorado in 2001 where he taught at a high school. Some of the jobs he did before coming to Colorado include being; security guard, bricklayer, barman, postman, rugby coach and salesman. when he moved to colorado, he decides to become a teacher. he taught English at the school he worked for. It is while living in Colorado that Adrian Mckinty began writing novels. In 2008 he and his family moved to Melbourne, Australia.
