If you grew up in the ’80s or ’90s, you probably remember the thrill of reading adventure books. the original series sold over an incredible 250 million copies! Fortunately, these books still exist to share with your students, and not only that; there are a lot of new series that follow the same format. here are a few that will drive your students crazy.

The rights to the original series have traded around a bit, but if you have a couple hundred bucks and a ton of love for the series, you can still buy the entire enchilada collection, which includes the first 40 books. written by notable authors like r.a. montgomery, edward packard, julius goodman, richard brightfield and more. best for grades 2-8.
and for the little ones: the dragonlark collection
Did you know Choose Your Own Adventure has a series just for elementary school kids? playful stories are less serious and have softer endings, but still offer readers plenty of adventurous options. best for grades k-2.

These interactive stories let you choose which path Scooby and the gang will take to solve the mystery. track down bigfoot, solve the secret of the flying saucer, explore an aztec tomb, and more! best for grades 3-6.
