Andrew Mayne, born Andrew Harter, is an illusion designer, magician, and filmmaker. he is considered one of the most prolific creators of magic in the last decade having written and produced more than fifty dvds, books and manuscripts on magic. Furthermore, he is also the host of the Weird Things podcast and the editor of Itricks.com and one of the Top 20 Natural Science Podcasts on iTunes. He is popularly known for his great magic tricks that mix mystery and science, and his illusions include drinking liquid nitrogen and shrinking his body to two feet in height.

mayne began his acting career as a teenager, working one summer in a circus. When he was in his early 20s, he was already operating on cruise ships such as Majesty Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Line & carnival cruise lines, as well as at resorts. As a magical consultant, Mayne has worked for Penn & teller, his favorite creation recreated a version of the arm through the body illusion that was first done by horace goldin.
