anita stansfield is an american author and is considered the queen of lds romantic fiction. she is a member of the church of latter-day saints and currently lives in alpine, utah with her husband and five children. She has been writing romantic fiction in this genre for almost two decades with her first book, First Love and Forever, published in 1994. In addition to writing novels, she has also published a collection of personal essays that are also oriented towards the latter. – day of holy readers.
While Stansfield does not write exclusively in the LDS genre of romantic fiction, his work in that genre has earned him praise for his ability to combine great storytelling with intense psychological depth in recounting the human experience through the eyes of the lds community. she also writes her books in a wide variety of time frames, as well as novels set in the 18th century and novels set in the present day.

Anita is also the author of the Horstberg Saga series of historical fiction books, but publishes them under the pseudonym Elizabeth D. michaels. the first book in that series is called behind the mask. Under her own name, one of her most prolific series is byrnehouse-davies & amp; hamilton saga that takes place in 1800 australia. The story is a nice clean love story like many of Stansfield’s books. The first book in the series is called The Gable Looks East and begins a long series of historical drama of love, revenge and destiny.
An interesting writing technique that is applied is the use of photographs. he has many pictures of ordinary people or models and movie stars that he cuts out of magazines that he uses to help him with his writing. she does this to avoid writing about the same types of characters in each of her books, and instead uses the photos to help give the characters their own personalities in the book and in her mind. using photography also helps her juggle multiple projects at once. she only takes one look at the photos to take her from one story to the next, as the photos connect with the characters in the story she is writing.
despite her production and her success as a writer, anita is still just a mother. she answers her own phone and washes her own clothes, takes care of her own children. her own children don’t even really see her as the famous author, but she’s just a mother to them. they will interrupt her writing for any need they may have and she is always happy to help them. Anita has said that she doesn’t want to be famous, but she wants her books to be famous. Still, that hasn’t stopped her fans from occasionally recognizing her when she writes a check or schedules an appointment within her lds community.

first love and forever is one of the first books by byrnehouse-davies & hamilton saga series The book begins with a woman named Emily Hall meeting Michael Hamilton. The two have not seen each other since she told him that she would marry Ryan Hall in her place. Ryan was a member of the Church of Latter-day Saints and Michael was not, which made her decision easy. Now a decade has passed and Michael still hasn’t married or joined the church, while Emily is married to an inactive and insensitive husband. When Michael comes to town, still in love with her, he creates a maelstrom of emotions that she finds hard to ignore. when michael returns, he begs her to run away with him to australia and her deep feelings for him make it hard to say no. she made a promise with her marriage that she intends to keep, but her promise of happiness with michael is very tempting for her. The story is filled with tons of unexpected twists and turns, while still following the lds values.
Anita is also the author of the Trevor Family Saga series which begins with Returning to Love. This is a powerful story about a woman named Janna who marries a man named Russell Clark. At first, she seemed like she might be the perfect husband, but she soon displayed a temper that she feared would destroy her life. Earlier in her life she loved Colin Trevor who she considered her true love, but she walked away from him and married Russell. Now, she meets up with Colin in hopes of rekindling what they once had. as russell and her fury try to find her.
somersby home is stansfield’s story about hazel mae hollingsworth, who is devastated after the unexpected death of her father. To make matters worse, the lawyer arrives at the family estate and reveals that everything in Hazel’s life has been a lie. at the reading of her father’s will, she learns a lot and finds herself left out. the man she once called her brother kicks her out of the farm and then her mother tells him to go away and stay with her father’s sister. Instead of fear, Hazel is overwhelmed by the gracious welcome she receives from her aunt and her family. everyone welcomes her wholeheartedly and it feels more like home to her. she finds a renewed sense of purpose in life as she digs deeper into the shocking truth of her heritage and at the same time she is given the opportunity for a romance she never would have expected in the past. Romance with a man who doesn’t care about her parentage offers her a real shot at love and a lasting home, but she’ll first have to make peace with her past in order to live the future she envisions.
