American author Anne Rice died in December 2021 at the age of 80 after a stroke. Originally from new orleans, she has a master’s degree in english and creative writing from san francisco state university, as well as a bachelor’s degree in political science. she was the author of over thirty novels and was one of the world’s most esteemed writers of supernatural fiction involving vampires, witches, and mummies. Her most popular book was her first book from 1976, Interview with the Vampire, which was adapted into a popular movie in 1994.
