Sometimes, you’re not just looking to curl up with a good book, you’re looking to review and immerse yourself in a whole new world and sea of characters in a great series of books!
I love romance book series for this reason because I often never want to let go of my favorite characters.
With a great series of books, you can keep these beloved characters, live a little longer in their world, and keep the wonderful words of your favorite author.
Also, when life isn’t necessarily going so well (like when you’re unemployed, sick, or dealing with a global pandemic), you need more than one great book to read, so why not dig deeper? in an unforgettable series?!
I decided to round up some of my favorite romance book series from all of my all-time favorite authors that I recommend and know you’ll fall in love with too.
I’ve tried to pull from different genres, so you’ll find contemporary romance, sports romance, new adult romance, historical romance, and erotic romance to name a few.

penny reid’s winston brothers series
It was a draw between the winston brothers series and the knitting in the city series on which is the best penny reid series. they are both epic series, but i stuck with the winston brothers because it starts with a knitting in the city crossover book.
You will fall in love with each of the Winston brothers, these amazing bearded men from Tennessee, each of whom has their own amazing love stories, but woven throughout is a family story that reaches its epic conclusion in the book. 7.
I was so devastated to read the last book and say goodbye to this family, but you really won’t have to.
the universe of penny reid and her world of green valley has expanded to many books in the smartypants romance series, so you’ll have to jump on them after finishing this series!
I also hope this series becomes a romance book TV show one day.
the series of elements from brittany c. cherry
next is a series with a bit of angst along with the heart.
These stories will tug at your heartstrings and may even cause a few tears (yes, they made me cry), but they are so, so good!

after a series that provides a bit of angst, you’ll want to read a feel-good romance series and the lucky harbor series fits the bill.
jill shalvis has a ton of great books and I’ve read almost her entire library.
This series is a mix of stories with characters who live in the same city and are a great mix of story, heart, and a bit of steam.
series about dublin street by samantha young
I live in the usa. but i love reading romance books that take place in other countries, plus i’m a fan of a scottish romance hero, so samantha young’s books always hit me in the right place.
her on dublin street series is a popular series for good reason because they are very well written and feature some great characters. jocelyn and braden are great, but i love olivia and nate too.
This series takes place in Scotland and follows a group of friends as they find love.
You’ll love this romance series and all the novels that go with it.
emma chase real series
another love of mine is royal romances.
why? I’m not really sure. maybe it’s the idea of having my own cinderella romance story, but no one does royalty better than emma chase in the royalty series.
every book is incredibly good as we follow this royal family.
the wallflowers series by lisa kleypas
if you’re going to go back in time with a historical romance, you’ll want lisa kleypas to guide you.
Her wallflowers series is so fantastic, it follows a fantastic group of four women who didn’t think marriageable partners were in the plans for them.

christina lauren’s beautiful series
Romance novel authors love the office environment and the beautiful series features some alpha males in New York City who are dominated by some talented women.
This series is what made me fall in love with this writing duo because the stories were intriguing and the characters unforgettable.
I loved reading about each of these bad boys and seeing what motivated them.
series bad habit of j.t. singer
Not only am I a sucker for office romances, I also devour rock star romance books. who doesn’t?!
Of course, I have a full book list of my favorite rock star romance series, but Geissinger’s Bad Habit series is one of the best.
every one of these rock kids is tortured by something and these books made me feel something. plus, its better halves are amazing in their own right.

sawyer bennett’s evil horse las vegas series
This series is for fans of erotic romance, but even if you’re not a fan or new to the genre, I suggest you check it out.
Each book explores a new couple, but you may see some familiar faces from book to book – everyone who meets or spends time at the evil horse club in Las Vegas.
Not all the books explore perversions (although some do), but they all explore how physical intimacy is a vehicle that brings these couples together in some way.
these are great stories and so hot!
elle kennedy off campus series
Fans of the new adult romance and college setting will want to check out Elle Kennedy’s off-campus series.
kennedy knows very well how to write characters at this stage of life and this series follows a group of college hockey players.
more sports series
If you didn’t already know this about me, I love sports romance. Since I love this genre so much (and made my own list of the best sports romance books), I also had to list some sports romance series in this post because they are so good.
meghan quinn brentwood baseball series
If you’re a baseball fan, the Brentwood Baseball Series is a must read. All of the books in the series can be read independently, but these books follow the Brentwood baseball players from college to the pros.
This series will not disappoint you one bit.
helena hunting’s pucked series
helena hunting’s pucked series is my all-time favorite sports romance series and it’s the series that first made me fall in love with this author’s work.
the pucked books are a lot of fun, and yet they also cover some deep topics later in the series, but they’re all great reads.
After this series, you’ll also want to watch it all in the hockey romance series!
amy daws harris brothers series
I couldn’t leave a post in the series without mentioning the Harris brothers, who play football, also known as soccer!
There is a common family history woven within the Harris brothers’ sports romance series and all the books are full of great characters and the trademark witty daws jokes I’ve come to love.
Revenge, Surprise, and Replay are technically separate romances, but they actually continue the story and focus on the Harrises’ teammates, who are just as fantastic.
