beverly marie inman or simply beverly barton as she is better known to many people, was one of america’s foremost authors who loved writing books and novels based on the romantic, contemporary, and fiction genres. She was born on December 23, 1946 in Tuscumbia, Alabama, United States to Walter D. inman jr. and doris marie. Ella Beverly was a lover of romance since her childhood, as she instantly fell in love with the epic love story, Beauty and the Beast after reading it at a young age. she was very grateful to her grandfather, who bought her a copy of the popular fairy tale. she was able to create some magical words as well as some exciting characters through her vivid imagination in her mind, even before she could read and write. Her hidden talent was fueled by the movies, as she Beverly was very fascinated by the romantic love stories shown in the movies. At the age of 7, she had begun to rewrite the scripts of the movies she saw in local theaters and on television to give them happy endings according to her own imagination. her creative mind helped her write her first novel at the age of 9 and she continued her hobby of writing television scripts, novels, short stories and poetry throughout her high school days and even college. p>

After completing her graduation, Beverly married Billy Ray Beaver, whom she considered the love of her life, and had a couple of children. she however, did not stop going to the movies and being a voracious reader. her but she had dropped her writing habits for a short while and she started writing romance novels and stories once her children entered their teens. beverly always says that her children had always been a great joy in her life at every stage of their lives, from babies to adults. for most of her life, she had been devoted to her children and her husband and considered herself a selfless supermom, as she always put the needs of her family first. she always had a very positive approach to any work she did and she believed that she had everything she ever wanted, but not all at the same time. When Beverly Barton turned 30, she decided to return to her passion for writing once again, however, she had not yet thought of having it as a career. she used to consider it just as a hobby.

But before Beverly turned 40, she decided to make writing her full-time career. she even received great support from her family members in her decision to rediscover her longstanding dream of becoming a prominent published author. the biggest support she received from her in her new career came from her husband billy ray while her children always encouraged her in all situations. and when her dream of becoming a notable novelist came true, she had successfully written more than 40 books and received various awards and nominations. Many of her books had appeared on the USA Today list and had also become best sellers on the Waldenbooks bestselling novels list. ella beverly seemed extremely pleased with her life’s achievements and she considered herself truly blessed to have a fabulous family and some fantastic friends. she also considered herself lucky enough to earn her own living doing the one thing she liked to do since her childhood. and after living a happy and peaceful life with her family, she passed away on April 21, 2011 from sudden cardiac arrest.

In her writing career, Beverly Barton was able to complete a total of five novel series, all of which had many exciting novellas and were also quite successful. The Griffin Powell detective thriller series written by her consisted of a total of 13 books published between the years of 2000 and 2011. The series was based on the activities of the private detective agency named Griffin Powell. The first novel in the series was published by Zebra Publishing in 2000 and was titled ‘After Dark’. The plot of the novel was set in Alabama and Houston, Texas in the United States and featured the main characters as Lane Noble Graham and Johnny Mack Cahill. In the opening sequence of the novel, the regions of Alabama seemed to be covered in a cloak of suspicion. in particular, the place called nobles’ crossing was full of dodgy things. Meanwhile, a woman named Lane Noble Graham was charged as the prime suspect in the murder of her ex-husband. She could be saved with the help of a single man named Johnny Mack Cahill. However, she had sworn never to return to Noble’s Crossing City, as she had given her many unpleasant experiences before. But, Johnny and Lane share a secret that makes them the next targets of the twisted killer who had killed Lane’s ex-husband. Now both of them must help each other to avoid being killed by the twisted killer and help the police catch him to bring him to the court of law and try him for murder.

The second novel in the series was published under the title ‘the fifth victim’. It was published by Zebra Publishing in the year 2003. The plot of this novel takes place in Tennessee, as well as in some other parts of the United States. The plot of the second novel in the series revolved around the lives of the main characters Genny Madoc and Dallas Sloan. In the opening plot of the novel, a victim is shown being murdered in a gruesome manner in the woods of the deep Smoky Mountains of Cherokee Pointe, Tennessee. the killer had a habit of evading law enforcement authorities in whatever state he was. Dallas Sloan is introduced as an FBI officer who knows the typical murder style of the deadly killer and was aware of the fact that the killings will not stop until 4 more bodies are found. On the other hand, Genny Madoc helps the residents of Cherokee Pointe through his sixth sense and leads them to the isolated log cabin, as they look for help in the terrible images of the murders. however, the images become more violent and strong every day. Now, Genny and Dallas are required to join hands, as desire draws them to each other to search for the city’s dark secrets. They must uncover the city’s hidden secrets before the twisted killer makes one of them his fifth victim by completing a sinister plan.
