aj finn is the pseudonym of daniel mallory, who loved to read crime novels as a child. He was infatuated with reading Agatha Christie and similar classic crime mystery books.

As she grew older, she began reading books by Ruth Rendel and Patricia Highsmith, which further deepened her love of the crime mystery.

she graduated from new college, oxford, and following her true calling, she even wrote her doctoral thesis on patricia highsmith.

once he finished his studies, he went on to work for little, brown imprint sphere in london, a major book publisher, where he focused on crime, mystery and thriller books. After a while, he moved to the United States, where he currently works as an executive editor at William Morrow, another big publisher.

At the age of 21, AJ Finn fell into a deep depression that forced him to try every treatment available at the time.
