Becca isn’t sure which of the two guys is perfect for her. it doesn’t help that one of them isn’t being honest. To make matters worse, Becca’s father resurfaces and is determined to be a part of his daughter’s life again.

the story tells mainly about chris, the youngest of the merrick brothers and partially about the lives of the rest of his brothers. Michael, the oldest of the brothers, has sacrificed a lot since the death of his parents in a tragic accident. Michael drops out of college and stays home to take care of his brothers. Although he is sometimes overprotective, he is the perfect older brother anyone can have.
This is a refreshing paranormal story featuring an exciting cast, a dense plot, and action-packed scenes. The story is beautifully written with wit and interesting characters that make the book a page turner. It’s also full of constant twists and turns that prove to be a fantastic debut novel that lives on until its cover. Becca and the Merrick brothers are interesting and lovable characters. there is a lot going on in the story and there is a lot of suspense in it. you’ll find just the right amount of action, romance, and suspense that makes for a great start to an up-and-coming series.

Unfortunately, things don’t go according to plan and the prince turns into a beast destroying everything in his path. before long, he destroys the castle and his family.

As the two teens interact, Rhen discovers that Harper is not your average girl. she has a lot to offer, and rhen knows she would be lucky to have such a woman by her side. Unfortunately, powerful forces oppose the falling embers, and the broken curse will not be enough to save the kingdom.
A Curse So Dark and Lonely is a love story in every sense of the word, and the great thing is that it goes beyond romantic love. the story also touches on self-love, love for family, and love for country. The book is set in the fascinating parallel world of Emberfall, which makes the story even more enjoyable. Harper is a perfect lead, and even though she wasn’t born a princess, she acted like one. rhen is also a wonderful prince. it’s easy to feel sorry for him given the fact that other than gray, he didn’t have anyone else. rhen had lost his family and for years he had not found anyone who could love him.
If you’re looking for a fairy tale like no other, such a dark and lonely curse is a wonderful choice. this is a well thought out read with interesting characters and a simple plot. the heroine is fierce, the pacing is perfect, and the ending will send you looking for the sequel.
